Weird Self Portrait

Some have seen Google’s Deep Dream images shared online. The images of normal images turned into bizarre images that would fit in a Lovecraftian universe.

I decided to try putting an image of myself into the Deep Dream generator, just to see how it would turn out. And I was a little sad that it didn’t end up being super weird, but the image caused me to be inspired to draw this. The idea was to see if I could create an alien looking character/creature.  Below is the reference image that inspired this art.

I debated on if I should color it and how it should be colored. Right now, I’m liking the colored face and white background one because it seems to help make the patterns in the face stand out better. Feel free to let me know which one is your favorite in the comments.
